Most people will be flying into Portland International Airport (PDX)

Travel from PDX to the Benson Hotel can be done by a variety of means (taxis, shuttle bus, limousine) or choose the scenic, fast, and cheap light rail system (MAX):

FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE BENSON HOTEL

 (1)  Taxi – about $30 – will take 20-25 min

 (2) on MAX (the light rail system Red line) - Cheap, fast, easy

The MAX is an easy and cheap way to go from the airport to downtown Portland.  It takes about 40 min.

To get to the Benson - get off the MAX at the Pioneer Square stop.  The cross street at the front of the train is Broadway.

Go right on Broadway – the Benson is a three blocks down on the left side of the street.

 

 

Starting from (Airport MAX Station) Portland Int'l Airport MAX Station (Stop ID 10579)

Board MAX Red Line to City Center & Beaverton TC

Get off at the Pioneer Square North MAX station, Morrison street exit

Take a right out of the MAX and walk to the crosswalk on Broadway
 
Cross Broadway (toward Nordstrom) and turn right
 
Walk down 3.5 blocks down Broadway toward The Benson, hotel is on the left

Benson Hotel is at 309 SW Broadway (SW Broadway Ave & SW Oak St)

Travel time: 46 minutes (including 6 minutes walking)

Fares: Adult All Zone ($2.30), Youth/Student ($1.50) or Honored Citizen ($0.95)
