Travel Award

The International Narcotics Research Conference 2010
Malmö, Sweden

Dates: July 11 (Sun) to July 16 (Fri), 2010

NOTE: There is different application forms for US-based scientists and Non-US- based applicants!

1) USA Applications:

The organizing committee will consider applications for financial support to the 2010 INRC annual meeting. Preference will be given to young scientists (postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and scientists less than 10 years past receiving doctorate) presenting at the meeting. The amount will depend on the finances available. In most instances, it should suffice to cover registration and to partially offset living costs and/or travel. Since most of the travel funds will come from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, claims for airfares must be on U.S. carriers whenever. Besides registration voucher, receipts must be provided in amounts to cover the award. When possible, checks will be issued at the Conference.

The INRC grant has received a favorable score from the Review Committee. However, the grant will probably not be funded until after the meeting. Awards to U.S. scientists will be made only when we are certain about the level of funding.
